Dr. Mohamed Nawfal Ghazzal
He studied Inorganic Chemistry at the Université Claude Bernard, Lyon, France. He received his PhD in 2008 from the Université Paul Verlaine, Metz, France. After one year as an Assistant Professor, he went as postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Then, staying in Belgium, he moved as researcher at the Université de Namur, and then, at the Université de Mons, working as senior researcher in the Laboratory of Surface and Interfacial Physics, Belgium. In France, he obtained a permanent position as an Associate Professor at the Institut de Chimie Physique, Université Paris-Saclay. He has published more than 30 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and 2 patents. His is interested in developing new carbon based and inorganic material with controlled architecture and design for photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical application.
